NaNoWriMo and Accountability

I’m participating in NaNoWriMo this year for the first time in…awhile. The new interface on the NaNo website is different, and it seems that I’ve lost all my writing buddies. I knew they’d done some website wizardry in the years since my last participation trophy (2018).

I’m not going to tell you how to get ready for NaNoWriMo—there are a ton of sites and people doing that. However, I’m starting a Slack channel for accountability and we’ll be able to post daily word counts and find sprinting partners easily! Naturally, I’ve added a channel for our writing coworkers, too—so feel free to share pics of your pets, plants, or whatever brings you joy and inspiration.
