Partnering for the Long Haul.

Romance Editor. Writing Coach. Long-Term Partner.

Since 2012, I’ve helped authors polish their prose, strengthen their craft, and publish with confidence—again and again.

Why Should You Choose Purple Pen Wordsmithing?

I’ve been a romance editor since 2012, and my business runs on referrals from authors I’ve worked with for years—some for over a decade. Here’s why they stay:

A notebook with handwritten words 'But first coffee' and a heart, a cup of frothy coffee, slices of orange, white flowers, and some small objects on a wooden surface.
A black ink drawing bottle, a black and silver pen, a black notebook, a piece of paper with handwritten text, and a spiral notebook with lined paper, placed on a wooden surface. Background has white flowers with green stems.

Who I Work With

I work with primarily romance authors who want to improve their craft.

If you’re hungry to learn, open to feedback, and ready to level up your writing, we’ll work well together. New author or experienced, I meet your skill level and help you grow from there.

Also, I’m neurodivergent and create a supportive space for all authors, including (especially) neurodiverse writers. Different brains, different stories.
